*AGRA NAERLS Green Field Day: Enhancing Farmer's Productivity through Good Agronomic Practices*

On September 14, 2024, the AGRA Kaduna Consortium, led by NAERLS, hosted a successful Green Field Day in Hayin Maje, Ikara, Kaduna State. The event featured a soybean demonstration field managed by Community-Based Advisor Sa'adiya Yusuf and aimed to promote Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), improved seed varieties, and collective knowledge sharing.

Highlights included presentations from key figures such as AGRA Kaduna PO Dr. Esther Ibrahim, AGRA NAERLS PI. Prof. C.K. Daudu and the Executive Director NAERLS ably represented by Prof. Y.A. Sani, a field tour, and interactive sessions with farmers. The event underscored the benefits of improved agricultural techniques and collective efforts in boosting productivity and sustainability.

Future plans include ongoing farmer training, expanded collaborations, and enhanced support for women in agriculture.
